TRAVLIN TEXANS has been an active chapter of the Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) since 1987. We are made up of RVers from all across Texas. Membership in TRAVLIN TEXANS is open to those that are active FMCA members. As an organization, we hold five rallies a year, generally scheduled for the first full week of March, April, May, October and November.
You never quite know how a rally will unfold! The March rally in Elmendorf, TX, was certainly an eventful one. It all started with a Tuesday morning storm, followed by relentless high winds—some reaching nearly 80 mph in the DFW area! To top it off, a grass fire ignited right behind the park, keeping everyone on edge with the possibility of evacuation.But despite the challenges, we had an amazing time! Our Rally Masters and their assistants put together a fantastic week filled with great food, fun games, and lasting friendships—everything RVing is all about. Now, we’re looking ahead to April in Fredericksburg, which promises to be another wonderful experience. Hope to see you all there!
